Our commitment to reflecting Brighton and Hove’s diverse communities includes working with organisations which help us understand the opinions and concerns of communities that have traditionally faced a greater degree of exclusion.
These organisations include:
Gypsies and the travelling community
Better communication is needed between front line NHS staff and Gypsy and Traveller families, says a study commissioned by NHS Brighton and Hove.
It found that while most Gypsies and Travellers use the city’s A&E and other urgent care services appropriately, they are more likely than other people to report a poor experience.
